Shanre-Ka (Charmaine) was born in Detroit Michigan. She was 27 years old when she was taken from her two children, Zaye and Mimi, and everyone that loved her. Shanre-Ka had a lot of life to live. Shanre-Ka, who we affectionately called Shay, accepted Christ at the early age of 9yrs old. You could feel her anointed spirit with her praise dancing. Shay could do hair like it was nobody’s business. From box braids to wigs, she could make a weave look like it was coming straight from your scalp. Shay was also musically inclined. A beautiful person inside and out with a smile that would draw you to her. She was a God fearing young woman and she never lost her faith in God. Her praise was felt by anyone near her. Shay may be gone, but she will never ever be forgotten. Her memory will live on through her children and everyone who loved her.
Shanre-Ka is preceded in death by two of her children: daughter Israel and son Richard Jr., and two of her brothers.
Shanre-Ka is survived by her two children: Isaiah and Amiriah, her mother: Yolanda Carlisle Tripp (Daryl), George Parrish, her brother: Demario Carlisle (Jasmine), her sister: Rebecca Mays, her best friend/baby sister: Domonique Tripp, her grandparents: Emery James Gaskins (Desi), and a host of nephews and nieces. 
She is also survived by her birth mother: Sylvia White.
