Obituary

Robert Joe Clark was born on March 26th, 1981 to Mr. Robert Joe Clark Jr. and Patricia Walker Clark. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age at the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Robert attended Austin Public School, Winn, Sims, Harris Elementary, Webb Jr. High and Reagan High School; at Reagan he took a special course learning how to grow all types of plants and vegetation. Robert was Crown King in 1986 for participating in the children’s category for the Women’s Day fundraiser at Metropolitan; he was so proud. He enjoyed swimming, fishing, going camping, and loved going to the beach; his favorite place to go was Port Aransas, TX. Most of all, Robert enjoyed family gatherings with his favorites: mac & cheese, spaghetti, enchiladas, and Kim’s fried chicken drumettes. Robert loved his family very much and his family loved him. Robert will be greatly missed. Robert’s smile was infectious; he could light up any room.

Robert was united with Keyisha Carter in 1998. Robert fell in love with a little baby girl by the name of Breiona, better known as BB, and took her in his arms as his daughter and in this union one beautiful daughter was born, Jaela Yasmine Clark (Bird).

Robert was later united with Kimberly Brown. In this union, two children were born: a handsome son Robert Joe Clark Jr. and a beautiful daughter Sharon “Sha Sha” Clark.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Joe Clark, his young baby boy Ugene Clark and sister Sandra Clark.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife Kimberly Brown; mother Patricia Walker Clark; children Breiona and husband Calaeb Hardison; granddaughter Calanie Hardison; Jaela, Robert Jr., and Sharon. Robert leaves brother Mr. and Mrs. Rodney and Latrice Ellison of Austin, TX; brother Bobby Walker of Austin; brother Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Rosalyn Clark of Houston, TX; sister Delores Chaney of Lancaster, TX. He will be missed by a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.
