Rebecca Johnson Moore was born May 29,1968 in Brooklyn, New York to Dave Mac Johnson and Julia Wade Moore. Rebecca was the youngest of her two sisters; Barbara Moore (deceased) and Sharon Moore.
At the age of 17 Rebecca gave birth to her daughter KoKo Glymph. While raising her daughter, Rebecca continued finishing high school and later continuing her education at Brooklyn College to major in Nursing and Business. While finishing up her studies she met her companion Robert Peterson. In 1988 Rebecca along with her daughter, mother and Robert moved to Austin, Texas for a better life. In 1989 Rebecca and Robert gave birth to their daughter Tanaya Moore and one year later their son Robert Moore.
In 1990 Rebecca returned to New York to raise her family. While in New York, Rebecca continued to work and be a loving mother and spouse. In 1993 Rebecca left New York to return to Austin for a better environment for her kids leaving her spouse behind to work and live in New York.
Rebecca was an angelic, loving, caring, and beautiful soul. She spent the majority of her life caring for others and her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her time with advice, care, support, and being a feisty fierce woman, but most importantly showing unconditional love. Rebecca lived by this quote which is; "Never give up, believe in yourself, have faith and walk by faith." Rebecca loved to be surrounded by her family and friends, being a devoted Christian, watching T.V. shopping, listening to music and enjoying good hearted company.
On August 2, 2022 Rebecca was called home to be with the Lord and her love ones. She is survived by her children; KoKo Glymph, Tanaya Moore, Robert Moore, Sister; Sharon Moore, Nieces; Cassandra Moore, Julianna Moore, Grandchildren; Chris Allen, Prince Moore, Ex Spouse, Robert Peterson.
