Ramona Pearl Coleman, 63, born Ramona Pearl Clark, departed this life on August 22, 2023. She was the first born of eight children to Louis Roosevelt and Betty (Baby) Jane Clark, in Russellville, Kentucky on September 20,1959.
After graduating from Burgess High School in El Paso, TX, she decided to forego college in favor of joining the family as they relocated to Germany for the third time. While there she met Terrance Coleman and they later returned to El Paso, TX where they were married on September 9, 1979; together they produced one child, Monique Renee Coleman on November 9, 1982.
Ramona worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years. She was as passionate about doing an exceptional job as she was about caring for her co-workers. She was dependable, kind, trustworthy, generous, and brought joy to all with whom she came in contact. She was a jewel.
Many of her hours were spent playing Bunko, sharing dinners, and attending the latest movies. She loved movies with unabashed laughter and tears when appropriate. Ramona was known for dropping a movie line in the middle of a conversation! She brought joy and balance to every situation. She will be missed terribly.
Ramona was family-oriented as well as her father's "right hand", as together for decades they led the family through marriages, births, and deaths. She was a rock for the entire family. She is survived by her sisters; Teresa F., Rita L., Linda R., Carla V., and honorary sister Jan Kearbey, and brothers; Louis R. Bobby D. and daughter Monique Renee Coleman. There are a host of nieces and nephews; all beloved by wonderful Ramona. However, she was most joyful with her 4 grandchildren. She loved them dearly.
Ramona was a strong believer in God. She never wavered in giving God credit for all things in this life, especially her employment and four grandchildren. She was affirmed in her faith and believed that this life was just a temporary path to her eternal home. She is at peace now with her Lord and Savior.
