Mary Elaine Williams was born on January 22, 1949 to the late Clifton Williams and Viola Jones. Mary attended Holy Cross Catholic School in her younger years, Rosewood Elementary, Kealing, and graduated from L.C Anderson.
Mary met the love of her life, James Roberts and became a blended family with Angela and Michael. To this union two sons were born, Brandon and Corey.
Mary received Christ at an early age at Bethany Christian Church. Mary was a woman of many talents. Her favorite was cooking. She was a fabulous cook. Mary worked for the University of Texas Food Service Department for many years. Mary very often cooked delicious meals for her family. Mary had another special talent which was singing. Her angelic alto voice was exceptional in the Rising Star Baptist Church Choir. Mary was a loving caring and supportive mom, grandmother, and advocate of all things good. She was always available to anyone in need. Very often Mary fed the hungry.
Preceding her in death are her loving parents, Clifton and Viola Williams, her siblings, Cordell, Lyndon the late Ruth Williams, Patricia the late Dr. Karey Gee, cousin- the late Harold Watson, nephew the late Kedrick Plummer. She leaves to cherish her lifelong partner of 43 years, James E, Roberts, her children Angela, Michael(Sharon), Brandon(Towanda) and Corey(Angela). Her grandchildren that she adored. D'Ambra, Bre'Anna, Danayah, Keira, Alayah, Michael (MJ), Madison, and James Corey, Great grandson Corey, and her extended grandchildren, Montanique, Kevin and Davia. Mary loved her babies unconditionally. Mary also leaves behind her loving sister In-laws, Brenda and Linda Roberts, and brother in-law Lawrence Roberts (Lisa), along with special cousin Easter Watson. Also leaving to cherish, 3 special ladies that bonded a special friendship over many years, Mattie Sneed, Betty Grant, and Hallie Tennon and nieces family and friends.
