Louis Kenneth Stewart, Sr. was born on December 30, 1930 in LaRue, Texas to Leroy and Maggie Stewart.
L.K. accepted Christ at an early age and later united with Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He went on to get his education and later joined the U. S. Army. On returning from service, he met and married Pearlie B. McCutcheon and to this marriage came 5 children.
Louis worked for and retired from the U. S. Postal Service.
L.K. was “The Patriarch” of this large and loving family and was better known as “Uncle Bo”. He loved his family and they loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pearlie B, two sons Darryll and Howard and in-law Willie Mae McCall.
Left to cherish his memory are daughters JoeAnn Stewart Canady and Sharon Stewart Hawkins; son Louis K. Stewart, Jr. (Mildred), six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson; four loving sisters; two brothers; and two godsons Kevin Brooks and Brandon Berkley.
