John Christopher Hays-Clark, better known as Chris Clark, gained his wings April 15, 2023. Chris Clark was born November 23, 1992, to Christine Clark and John Edward Hays. Chris is a graduate at Austin Can Academy located in Austin, TX. Chris's upbringing involved a lot of outdoor activities from Boy Scouts, football, basketball, to canoeing and spending time at the beach! Chris worked various jobs from Austin Parks & Recreation to America's Auto Auction, concluding his career at KFC.
In 2009, Chris began having a relationship with Reegan Aparicio, while attending Eastside Memorial High School. Chris and Reegan went on to have their first child, Lashawn Aparicio-Clark in 2011 together. Although they didn't maintain a romantic relationship, they vowed to always remain friends and stick by one other's side through thick and thin, and to shower Lashawn with everlasting love.
While family and friends are shocked by Chris's sudden passing, we are thankful for his life and the times we've gotten to spend with him. Chris was a genuine soul who relished in making life full of fun and laughter. Throughout the years of Chris's life, he was known for his sense of humor! No matter what the situation was, nor the severity of it, he was sure to crack a joke and make sure everyone around him left smiling. Chris was a fan of sports. His teams included Nebraska University, Chicago Bears, and Miami Heat. Win or lose, Chris stuck by his teams no matter what. Chris had an uncanny ability to find happiness in all his journeys through life.
Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Clark and JF Clark; sister Christie Clark; and his uncle Michael "Smurf" Lashon Clark.
Chris leaves to celebrate and cherish his memory his son LaShawn R. Aparicio-Clark; his mother Christine D. Clark; sister Jaquesha White; brother Jonathan Clark; and a host of family members and friends.
