Obituary

James P. Fields, 71 years of age joined our Lord on Wednesday June 24, 2020 at his home in Austin TX. James Phillip Fields was born May 15, 1949 to Robert Lee Fields Senior and Mary Louise Fields(Mack) He was the second of 5 Boys.

He attended Placacka elementary school where he was active on the school’s baseball team. He continued his baseball career during his time at Calhoun High school where he was also apart of their football team and the basketball team. Shortly after graduating from High School He entered The Air Force at the ripe age of 18 and where he Proudly served his Country for 21 years.

During his time in the military he met and fell in loved and later married Della Mae Williams on August 19, 1972 and that day he also became an amazing father to his son Leotis Compton Jr. During their 47 years of marriage they were also blessed with three amazing daughters Natasaca Yvette Fields, Latricshaca Davon Fields(Reed) and Bernadette Louise Fields.

He was Preceded in death by his Father Robert Lee Fields, Step-Father Wilbert Mack, his Mother Mary Louise Mack, his Brother Rev. Jesse Lee Fields,  Grand-daughter Tazuan K. Fields along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces and nephews.

He leaves the following to cherish his memory, his Wife Della Mae Fields, daughters Natasaca Yvette Fields and Latricshaca Davon Fields, Denver,CO, son Leotis Compton Jr. (Yvonne) and Daughter Bernadette Louise Fields, Aurora CO.  Along with his 3 brother Brothers Robert Lee Fields Jr(Diane),San Marcos TX,  Alvin Mack, San Antonio TX and Bobby Joe Fields(Susan) ,Von Ormy Tx and his sister Johnnie Fields, Houston TX along with 13 Grand Kids, 7 Great-Grand Kids and a host of Aunts ,Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Denver, Colorado.
