Obituary

 

 

 

Hazel Henderson was born November 25, 1940 in Dawson County / Lamesa Texas to the parents of Mance Henderson and Mary Murry. They moved to Odessa Texas in 1946, she attended Ector County Schools. She worked as a housekeeper, she also worked for a company that built homes. She had the opportunity to travel with the company  to Hawaii on several  occasions. She lived in Oklahoma City for a period of time before relocating to Austin Texas while living in Oklahoma  City she attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located in Arcadia Oklahoma under the leadership of Rev. Allen R. Threatt III.


She is preceded in death by parents; Mance Henderson and Mary Murry, sisters; Gussie M. Henderson, Lela Mims, Mary D. Adams, Gladys Green, Irene Roberson, brothers; Hardy Henderson, M.C. Henderson, Emmett Henderson, M. B. Henderson, Robert Henderson, Leonard Henderson

She leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces nephews, great nieces, great  nephews and friends.
