Gracie Mae Guyton, 81, of Austin, TX, passed away on July 20, 2021.
She was born to the parents of Abbie Johnson and Frederick Hyder, on 05/15/1940 in Bastrop, TX. She graduated with a diploma from Old Anderson Highschool in 1959.
Gracie worked as a Care Giver for Travis State School for 15 years, she then moved on to Motorola as Semiconductor Operator, as she would also add on a 2 nd full time job as a Dispatch of Medical Supplies for Seton Hospital. She worked at these two companies for over 18 years simultaneously. She then began working in Housekeeping for Christopher House in 2002. After 15 years of service, she retired from Christopher House in 2017.
Gracie enjoyed singing, baking, cooking, spending time with her family, and spreading love and joy wherever she went. She was a mother to all that crossed her path, as she cared and loved everyone equally. Gracie Guyton was an outstanding Humanitarian and child of GOD.
She was preceded in death by Abbie Johnson, Lovia Johnson, Frederick Hyder, April Denise Guyton, and April Denise Wells Guyton.
Gracie is survived by Kennan Guyton, Alvin Guyton, Chris Guyton, Bobbie Arnold, and Howard Aldridge.
