Emma B. Wright Hill was Born August 17th, the first of four children born to Clyde and Celestine Wright who preceded her in death, along with a sister, Betty Jean James.
Emma Hill, was a well-known and well respected woman who served her community for many years. Emma Hill professed her life to Christ in her early childhood years. She united with the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas in the early 60th's under the leadership of Rev. S.E. Steward, by Christian experience. She was a dedicated worker, chairperson for many programs, and she held many different offices in the Church. Served as the President of Ministers and Deacons Wives for many years. She loved to have banquets, and Tea's for the church. She was dedicated in her outreach ministry.
She received her hair stylist certification/license in 1964 and established her own business "Hill’s Wig and Beauty Salon", with specialization in Wigs. In 1974 Emma Hill served as the President of the “Miss Black Texas Beauty Pageant”, for several years.

She was married to Philemon Lamar Hill of forty-two years San Antonio Tx.
She leaves to mourn her death a dedicated, loyal son Arthur Lee Bell, Jr. (Barbara) of Austin, Texas: Sister Mildred Williams of El Paso, TX; Two Brothers Joe Wright of Phoeniz Az., and Alton Ray Henderson
Arlington TX; five grandchildren: Barbara Jarmon (Roy), Arthu Lee Bell, III, Stephanie Williams (Moses), Rivernette B. Hall and David Wayne Munford; 9 great-grandchildren children and a host of nieces and
