Donald Ray Organ was born September 29, 1950 to Henry and Lucille Organ.
Donald Ray graduated from the Old Anderson High School and was employed with the City of Austin for 14 years. Along life’s journey, he managed a baseball team (Parking Lotters) and an R&B band. Prior to his illness, he served as treasurer for the Over the Hill Gang, a community group that rendered service to Austin and surrounding areas.
Donald accepted Christ at an early age under the Pastoral leadership of the late Reverend James E. Obey, Sr. of David Chapel Baptist Church. Days before his passing with tears of joy, he rededicated his life to Christ, surrounded by family and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings; Ernest Organ, Henry Organ Jr., Larry C. Organ, Eloise Organ Shigg and Margaret Jean Organ.
Donald is survived by his siblings; Charles (Barbara) Organ, Jimmy (Evelyn Faye), Irving (Catherine) Organ and Thomas (Arrie) Organ, Beulah Limuel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
