Deneisha Latrece Smith (Neisha) was born on June 27, 1984, in Austin, Texas to Blanche E. Washington Smith and Ronnie Baylor.
Neisha accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age and was baptized at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.
Her educational years were spent in the AISD school district including Maplewood Elementary, Kealing Middle School and McCallum High School where she graduated in the class of 2002. After graduation, she attended the Academy of Cosmetology in Austin, Texas and received her Diploma of Cosmetology in August 2003.
Neisha worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 12 years prior to her current employment at Travis County, Precinct 1. She loved working at Travis County with her co-workers and the Constables who crossed her path. Next to God, the most important thing in life to Neisha was her family and Clifford (her Happy Place).
Neisha answered God’s call to come home at 11:05 pm on April 12th. She was preceded in death by her father.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Blanche E. Smith (Choochie), sis-ter, Jannice Smith (Niecey) and niece, Anastacia Smith (Staci); brother, Kevin Baylor; aunts, Lucille (Sis) Allen, Bobbie Williams, Rosalind Townsend and Glenda Washington, Cynthia Baylor, Linda Baylor, Vickie Baylor; uncles, Woodrow W. Washington, Jr. (Marlene), Charles Baylor; 1st cousins, Aldo Ray, Tonya, Shawna, Cedric, Will, Cootie, Shea, Shayla, Everett II; Neisha had a very special relation-ship with her younger cousins, Avanii, Tailyn, CeeCee, and Jaida, but her biggest love was for her youngest cousins, “TiTi’s babies”, Skylah, Jaxon, Poppi, Emarii and Everett III (Tre’).
