Arthur Lee Neville Jr. was born February 27, 1955, in Austin, Texas to Arlene (Kincheon) Patton and Arthur Lee Neville Sr.  When his mother remarried in 1966, he gained a bonus father, Sherman Patton Sr.

A lifelong Austinite, Arthur attended Old L.C. Anderson High School and was a graduate of David Crockett High School's Class of 1974 where he was a standout athlete in basketball.  He furthered his athletic career and education while attending Concordia University Texas (formerly known as Concordia Lutheran College) on scholarship and proudly worked for the Austin State Hospital, City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department, and the Texas Lottery Commission.

Arthur was wed to Dimple Davis November 3, 1974.  From this union, they were blessed with three children -  Tiffany Bryant (Gregory); Larry Neville Sr.; and Arlishia Neville.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his brother, Eric “Champ” Patton.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife and three children; a grandson, Larry Neville Jr.; a brother, Sherwynn Patton (Kim); and a host of other loving family and friends.
