Anthony W. Burdett Sr. was born to Fernando L Burdett Sr. and Barbara Burdett in Austin Texas October 21, 1955.

Tony grew up in the Holy Cross neighborhood. The friendships he had lasted a lifetime. He and his friends, more like brothers, had a special bond that could never be broken. Stuart (Boo), Doug, John (Mexican) are a few that can be mentioned.

Tony worked at Yaring's Stores with the Matney family for many years. Throughout the years he remained close to the family.  He worked for Goodwill of Central Texas for almost 20 years (or more). He started as a retail associate and worked his way up to management, his last position being at DDS. He was always on the move never settling for less than he deserved. Tony was well liked by his peers and staff. Always making a pleasant work environment for everyone. He was an advocate for his staff.

Tony had 3 children from his first marriage, Anthony, Courtney and Corey.

Tony moved to Colorado in the late 1980 where he resided for a few years.

In 1991 he met his wife, Patricia. Together they raised 2 daughters, Isabella and Veronica. The family moved back to Austin where they made their home. Later in life they adopted their two grandson. Tony loved the boys so much, spoiling them and making sure they were happy and felt secure.

Tony was a good friend to many, always giving good advice, helping others, telling jokes and making people laugh.

Tony will be deeply missed by his wife, daughters, grandsons and friends.
