Ronnie Wayne Baylor was born May 9, 1949 in Austin, Texas. He was the second child born to Charles Edward Baylor and Mary Frances Freeman Baylor.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Sweethome Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of the late Rev. W. Luther Holland.
Ronnie graduated from old Anderson High School in 1967 and attended Hills College in Hillsboro, Texas on a baseball scholarship.
After college, he pursued a career with Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Washington. Returning to Austin in 1971, he worked for the City of Austin Health and Human Services as an Intake Specialist. Later he worked for Travis County MHMR, where he retired.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charles Edward and Mary Frances Baylor, his beloved daughter, Kisha Baylor and his eldest niece April Baylor.
He leaves to cherish and honor his memory his sisters, Cynthia, Linda and Vicky Baylor; his brother, Skip Baylor and his wife, Noreen; his forever brother, Charles Walker and his wife, Roslyn; his son, Kevin Baylor; his daughter, Deneisha Smith; his grandsons, Brandon Baylor and Quadre Baylor Greenfield; his nephews, Terry Baylor, Tony Baylor and wife, Juliet, Karl "Dusty" Turner Jr., Alexander Baylor, Nicholas Baylor and Jon-Carey Walker; his nieces, Madison Baylor and Maranda Walker Gaffney; great-nephew, Preston Baylor; great-nieces Taylor Ligawa and Tiara Baylor; great great-nephew Trillion Allen and a host of family and friends, all of which he loved dearly.
