Monic LaShea Hardin was graced with her heavenly wings on Sunday, December 22, 2019.
Monic began her journey November 22, 1971. Monic who is well known as Nikki was born and raised in Austin Texas to Edwin Hardin and Patricia White. She was the oldest of 4 siblings, two brothers and two sisters; Cecil Hunter, LaToya Hunter Pettermon, Otis Robinson and LaShonda Hunter. Monic adored her cousin LaShawn Hodge who was like a sister to her, they grew-up and did everything together. Monic is preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents; Ed and arbara Hardin and Uncle Michael Hardin.
Monic accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Austin Texas. Her early education and high school years were also completed in Austin where she graduated from Crockett High School.
Monic married her ex-husband Derek Roe Sr. to this union two children were born Dominique (Anais Brawley) Roe and Derek Roe Jr. (Ada) Roe. She was always there for her children
whenever they needed her, even as adults.
Monic leaves a legacy of 4 grandchildren: Syniah, Savanna, LaDarius and Londyn Roe. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, she loved them with everything that she had and spoiled them by get them whatever they wanted whenever they wanted it. Monic loved her family.
Monic has a very diverse work experience background that includes working at a law firm and spans to working in the field of hospitality which was perfect for her personality. She had just received a promotion at her job working at the Best Western of Lulling, she was great at what she did. She will be missed.
Monic lived a life of love, laughter and joy. Monic leaves to cherish her father, mother, siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of family, friends, co-workers and loved ones.
