Place of Birth and Parents

Milton Ray Howard was born October 4, 1951 in Austin, Texas.  He parents are Brady Lee and Fannie Lou Howard.

 

Education

He attended Austin Public Schools where he graduated from Reagan High School.  He then continued his education at Austin Community College.

 

Religious Affiliation

Milton Ray Howard turned his life over to Christ and was baptized at an early age at St. Edwards Baptist Church in Austin, Texas.

 

Marriage

Milton Ray Howard met and married his (Lucy boo) Nancy Gail Skinner on April 12, 2008.  We were married for eleven years, but were together for 16 years.  He later moved his membership to Metropolitan A.M.E. Church.

He was assigned Co-Pro Team of the Steward Board.  Milton loved his church and the members.  He had this tradition at church that he had certain little women at church he would give a hug to every Sunday.  (I called them little homeys).  He attended church regularly until his health failed him.

 

Hobbies

Milton loved fishing, cooking and watching all kinds of sports.

For many years he worked with his father at Howard’s BBQ.  This was a very popular place in Austin, Texas.

 

Preceded in Death by

He was preceded in death by his parents Brady Lee and Fannie Lou Howard and six siblings.

 

Survivors

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Gail Howard; his three siblings: Nathaniel Howard (Gladys) of Austin, Texas, Gloria Stewart and Karen Howard of Austin, Texas; two precious god-sons JoVan Wells, Zion Clarence Freeman, both of Austin, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
