Linda Molock

November 23, 1956 ~ April 29, 2018 (age 61)

Life’s Reflection

November 23, 1956  ~  April 29, 2018

Who knew back on November 23, 1956 in Belzoni, Mississippi the woman that Linda Ann Molock would become. She was an amazing, nice, spirited soul who cared and looked out for everyone. Linda was a devoted wife, mother of 2 daughters, a grandmother, and a friend to everyone she met. She believed and encouraged family unity described in Scripture through faithfully serving the Lord. Linda was like the fruitful vine within her house; the daughters were like olive shoots around her table.

Linda went through a lot in the past few years. For those that do not know, she was a breast cancer survivor. She had subclavian and aortic aneurisms that puzzled doctors; they never saw a case like her case. God blessed us to find a special heart doctor from Argentina who accepted Linda in a trial procedure. He created a custom graft to repair her aortic artery while she was actively in surgery.

She had multiple heart surgeries to repair the aneurisms, which resulted in other unforeseen side effects that included pulmonary hypertension. Her last hospitalization in April resulted in yet another need for life support. Linda fought the good fight that ended in God's will to call Linda to be with our Lord and Savior on April 29, 2018 at 4:25 PM with her family by her side.

Linda’s profession of faith in God was unquestionable. As she went through many medical procedures, she made sure that God received the glory after each procedure. She would always say, “Thank God, I’m still here!” We thank God for all that He did for her and that He allowed her presence in our life.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Mae Smith of Omaha, NE, her brothers Charlie Smith of Belzoni, MS, and Allen Smith of Omaha, NE, and her sister Mary A. Chaffold of LA.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Leroy of San Antonio. TX, her daughters Angela of Round Rock, TX, and Ashley of Pflugerville, TX, her grandchild Persephone, her sisters, Bobbie Cotton of Belzoni, MS, Casselyn (Tina) Haynie of Fort Worth, TX and, her brother Tommy Coleman of Omaha, NE, her sister-in-law Dianeanna Molock of Cambridge, MD, her brothers-in-law Sylvester Molock, Derrick Molock(Tracy),  and Rev. Richard Molock(Brenda) all of Cambridge, Md, and a host of other relatives and friends.
