Leo Stanley Johnson, age 58, died at St David’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas, on Friday, January 26, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Stan was born in Brady, Texas on October 11, 1959 to Mary and Leo Johnson (who are both deceased). He has one sister Susan Razinski and three brothers Bennie Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Bill Johnson (who are all deceased), He has two living brothers Leroy B, Johnson, Sr. (Columbus, GA) and Albert Johnson (Brady, Texas).
Stan was never married but lived most of his adult life with his companion Ella Johnson, and helped raise her children Clyde Wallace III, and Estella Johnson and enjoyed their children Isah Graves, Robert Graves Jr., Ja-Coby Johnson, Joshua Morgan Woods, Cha’Nya Wallace and Clyde Wallace IV, who he considered as his own children and Grandchildren.
Stan was raised in Brady where he attended Brady High School and ran track. He currently holds the track star record at that school. He served in the Air Force and drove trucks for a living. Stan was a very handy man who could fix about anything around the house. He was a good provider for his family and role model for his children and grandchildren. May he rest in peace he will be missed by us all.
