Leamon Cummings III, 36, passed away on February 7, 2018, in Elk City, Oklahoma. He was born September 2, 1981, in Columbus, Ohio, to Leamon and Sherry Cummings. His early years were primarily spent in Ohio and Michigan. At the age of 7, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior. Later on, his time was divided between Oklahoma and Texas. He also completed studies at University of Central Oklahoma. On February 19, 2010, he married Casey Jo Hensley in Austin, Texas.

He created his own nickname and preferred to be called "Koolox". He was an active child and talented athlete. He excelled in a variety of sports, including football, soccer, and baseball. He was a member of the Cub Scouts. He loved sports cars and working out (despite his love for milkshakes). He also enjoyed taking his children to Main Event and Chuck E. Cheese's. His colleagues at work described him as hardworking, friendly, and enthusiastic. Leamon fought a long battle with addiction and had hoped to maintain sobriety.
