Kevin Alexander Brown, Sr. was born in Austin, TX on May 22, 1954. Kevin began his journey to his heavenly home on December 5, 2018 at 10:10 A.M. He was preceded in his after-life by great grandfather Pink Brown; great grandmother Jane Brown; grandfather (Papa) Moses Brown, Sr.; grandmother Sadie Brown; grandfather Rev. Solomon Williams; grandmother Doris Williams; father Freddie Brown; mother Emma Smith; and, brother Donald Wade Brown.
Kevin leaves to treasure his memory two sons, Kevin Alexander Brown, Jr, and Donald Kong-Brown (Kipp); and one daughter, Toytrisala Moneek Brown, all of Houston, TX. He also leaves his brother Assistant Pastor Reese Brown (Austin, TX) and his sister Doranita (Dee Dee) Brown (Austin, TX); two grandsons, Anthony Brown (Stone Mt, GA) and Yul Javier Brown-Ordonez (Houston, TX); one granddaughter, Bria N. Brown (Johnstown, PA); one great grandson, Aiden Brown (Stone Mt, GA); 2 uncles, Dave and Isaac, and 3 aunts , Viola, Bertha, and Mary, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kevin confessed Christ at an early age. He was a dedicated member of St. Paul AME Church located at 1554 Gears Rd. Houston, TX 77067 under the leadership of Pastor Roderick Dawson. Kevin enjoyed lifting Christ up and giving our Lord God Almighty praise and glory. He also enjoyed ministering with his family members, buddies, associates, and Uber clients.
Kevin was a kind and thoughtful person and was loved by all who had the opportunity to know him. Kevin also was an awesome cook and was best known for his fried chicken and homemade steak fries. On Kevin’s path of life, he touched many lives. Kevin will be greatly missed by all those he touched.
