Harry V. Hunter was born on January 12, 1957, in Austin Texas to the late Rebecca Laborah Hunter. He was a twin and the seventh born of eight siblings. The Lord called him home on July 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by siblings: Wilmer F. Hunter and Ella J. Hunter.
At an early age, he accepted Christ and was baptized at Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church. He received formal education through the Austin Independent School District. Harry grew to become a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
He loved family gatherings, playing dominoes, and being the friendliest handyman. He will truly be missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories his closest friend of almost 40 years and loving wife of 36 years, Zina Hunter; two sons: Ivan Hunter and Harry P. Hunter; two daughters: Talsasha Sumling and Lindsey Powell; siblings: Marjorie Williams, Otis Hunter, Shirley Livingston, Cecil Hunter, and twin brother, Larry Hunter; seventeen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
