GEORGE MILTON MCDONALD was born February 20, 1941 to the late Henry McDonald and Estella McDonald.

 

-A Time for Preparation

George attended Hopewell Elementary School and graduated from Emile High School in 1959. Of the Baptist faith, he grew up in Cedar Creek, TX, Bastrop County. George was united in holy matrimony to Miss Ella Mae Hardeman, this union was blessed with four children; Clinton Anthony Hardeman, Virginia Kay McDonald, Brian Keith McDonald and Tammi Renee McDonald. George retired from IBM after 25 dedicated years.

 

-A Time to Say Goodbye

George Milton McDonald, age 78, of Austin, the lord called him from labor to reward on November 11, 2019. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his children, Brian Keith McDonald and Tammi Renee McDonald; two daughter in laws, Sondra Thacker and Carrie Spencer Hardeman; two sisters, Annie “Faye” Stewart and Willie “Jean” Houston; his grandchildren, Shaunea Otis (Naynay), Michael Hardeman, Derek Hardeman, Clinton Hardeman Jr (AJ), Anecia Thacker, Breon Haynes, Breanna Thacker, Trevor Hardeman, Cassandra (Thacker) Jones and Cameron Sparks; many great grandchildren, host of other relatives and countless friends. George was preceded in death by his caring and loving wife, Ella Mae McDonald; A daughter, Virginia Kay McDonald; A son, Clinton Anthony Hardeman; and brothers, James Henry McDonald and Charlie O’Neil McDonald.
